Happy New Year!

Well it has been quite a year for us at WDFD! We have been sponsors at NLC & Orange Amplifiers Rockin For The Children Festival, Stonedeaf Festival & Rockwich Festival which were quite simply fantastic, and also at Wildfire Festival which will hopefully roar back next year. We have seen our roster rise to 4 – the awesome THEIAuk, The Howling Tides, Pariah Soul & Stand Amongst Giants – and we are incredibly proud of what each of them have achieved. Further bands are set to come on board shorty and we are really looking forward to introducing them to you all. Our working relationship with KOL promotions has been brilliant for our bands, and we are immensely grateful. They have worked their socks off to make events successful. We have also been very very fortunate to work with some other awesome promoters and venues which makes life so much easier! And let’s not forget the sound & lighting people who make shows so brilliant, and the often forgotten and under-appreciated photographers and reviewers for tireless work capturing the moment and creating lifelong memories. A distribution deal has been signed with CODE 7 Distribution who we are very excited to be working alongside and bringing our products to a store near you! ☺ August saw the release a free compilation CD featuring 7 brilliant bands and the feedback we got from you on that made it one of the highlights of the year. Yeah!! We got incredibly kind support from a large number of independent radio stations and podcats for which there really is no thanks big enough – you guys are simply AWESOME. Huge thanks also to BJF PR for support and advice throughout the year. You all rock!! On the downside, income minus expenditure showed a loss of around £2,100 for the year. But hey, we are certainly not in it for the money!! Thank you for everything you do as supporters of rock music whether by attending gigs, buying CD’s, telling your friends, wearing band merchandise or even streaming. We couldn’t do any of this without you!! See you on the other side. Happy New Year!!
